Estelle Venter

Estelle Venter does not see anyone as ‘just’ a patient or a client. She views the person – and their needs – as a whole being. She’s passionate not only about improving speech and hearing, but uplifting and tending to the needs of the person as a whole.

This philosophy has been nurtured over nearly 25 years in the industry. After stints at hospitals in Europe and as part of the cochlear implant team at Tygerberg Hospital as the Audiologist and Speech Therapist, Estelle seized a work opportunity in Hermanus in 2000. After a year working in a private practice with an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist she’d fallen in love with the town and its community. She knew she never wanted to leave, so in 2001 she opened up her own practice and has been passionately serving the community for nearly a quarter century.

Estelle specialises in both Speech Therapy and Audiology as she is passionate about helping people communicate and loves the variety of the work (read more about her various services).

While serving her patients in the tight knit community of Hermanus is her main priority; it is also very important for her to keep nurturing the relationships with the doctors and other therapists in town. In her strive to uplift her patients as a whole she believes teamwork among the various specialists in such a small community is vital.
